1、 Flushing of seal of pneumatic diaphragm pump
Flushing is an effective measure to control the temperature and prolong the sealing life of pneumatic diaphragm pump. The purpose of flushing is to take away heat, reduce the temperature of sealing chamber, prevent liquid film vaporization, improve lubrication conditions, prevent dry operation, prevent impurity accumulation and air bag formation. Flushing is actually a direct cooling method. It includes forward flushing, reverse flushing, full flushing and comprehensive flushing. The sources of flushing fluid include internal flushing and external flushing. Single point flushing and multi-point flushing are arranged according to the flushing population.
(1) Forward flushing
When the medium temperature is 0 ~ 80 ° C, forward flushing is usually used for flushing and cooling. It is a common method, which is divided into self flushing type and external flushing type.
(2) Back flush
The sealing medium led out from the sealing chamber returns to the lower pressure in the pump (usually the population of the pump), and the sealing chamber is flushed by the sealing medium itself.
(3) Full flushing
The sealing medium is introduced from the high-pressure side (pump outlet) of the pump, and the medium is introduced from the sealing cavity and returned to the low-pressure side of the pump for circulating flushing. This flushing is also called through flushing.
(4) Two way flushing
For the double support pump, two-way flushing can be adopted. The pressure of the sealing cavity at the outlet end is higher than that of the population seal, connecting the sealing cavities at both ends. The outlet end of the pump is back flushing, and the population end of the pump is forward flushing, so it is called two-way flushing.
2、 Cooling of seal of pneumatic diaphragm pump
The purpose of cooling is to remove heat and reduce temperature. The cooling methods include direct cooling and indirect cooling. In essence, the previous introduction is a direct cooling method. The effect of indirect cooling is worse than that of direct cooling, but the requirements for coolant are not high. The indirect cooling methods include sealing cavity jacket, gland jacket and stationary ring jacket. Back cooling is a cooling method that cools the stationary ring directly from the back of the stationary ring with coolant (water, oil, etc.), with good cooling effect. It can directly and quickly cool the back of the stationary ring, also known as quench. It is usually used in combination with flushing.
